You are the sole survivor of the planned assault that killed your lord and clan. With no lord, rank, or allies, even an uncertain lead in Mizunoki could be your first chance to learn who ordered it. The hamlet’s harvest and safety are also at stake as rumor and fear take hold.
Mizunoki is a small farming hamlet in Iga Province, where rival lords and shifting loyalties make war a familiar threat. People fear hunger, banditry, fire, and offending a powerful household; strangers are watched until they have proved trustworthy.
